The final four spots into the 2022 CPKC Women’s Open field will be determined during Monday’s Final Qualifier at The Marshes Golf Club in Ottawa, Ont.
The Final Qualifier will include a field of 24 competitors competing over 18 holes of stroke play with the low four competitors receiving an exemption into the 2022 CPKC Women’s Open field. If necessary, a hole-by-hole playoff will be conducted immediately following the conclusion of play.

Monday will also make the start of tournament week for the 2022 CPKC Women’s Open at Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club as the stars of the LPGA Tour return to the Nation’s Capital for the first time since 2017.
Currently, 18 of the top 20 players on the Race to the CME Globe standings are coming to Canada, led by Canadian sensation Brooke Henderson and defending champion & world no. 1 Jin Young Ko. The field consists of:
- All five major winners
- 14 LPGA Tour in-year winners
- 7 past CPKC Women’s Open Championships
- 15 Canadians including Lorie Kane who will make her 30th and final appearance

Golf Canada Foundation Monday Pro-Am
In addition to practice rounds in the morning, Monday at Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club will feature the Golf Canada Foundation Pro-Am with a shotgun start beginning at 12:30 p.m. Several Team Canada amateur and professional athletes competing in the CPKC Women’s Open including LPGA players Maude-Aimee LeBlanc, Maddie Szeryk and others will be joined by Team Canada hockey icon and broadcaster Cassie Campbell-Pascal, TSN host Lindsay Hamilton, and former Ottawa Senator Nick Paul along Ottawa Senators legend and Hockey Hall of Fame inductee Daniel Alfredsson. CP HAS HEART CHARITY CAMPAIGN TO BENEFIT THE CHEO FOUNDATION:
Canadian Pacific and Golf Canada are proud to support the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Foundation as the primary charitable beneficiary for the 2022 Canadian Pacific Women’s Open. Among the charitable engagements tournament week will be the Birdies for Heart hole on no. 15 at Ottawa Hunt with $5,000 donation made for every birdie made on the hole during the four rounds of the competition. In addition, CP is also proud to support a community beneficiary in the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation in support paediatric cardiac care. The CPKC Women’s Leadership Summit will bring together like-minded businesspeople from across the country for a day of networking, empowerment, and philanthropy. The Summit, which will be headlined by renowned Canadian venture capitalist Arlene Dickinson as the keynote speaker, will also raise awareness for the CPKC Women’s Open, with attendees receiving access to the tournament during the week.
